My husband just returned from the King's castle and informed me that Malcolm, Duncan's eldest son, was named Prince of Cumberland. Just as I expected! If I do not force my husband to seize the throne, he will lose the chance of becoming King of Scotland.
My husband also told me that Duncan was coming over to our castle tonight. I decided to kill Duncan, never letting him see sunlight. I told my husband to act well and that we shall carry out the 'deed' tonight as it is the golden opportunity to kill Duncan. No one would suspect us as we are the hosts of Duncan.
How dare he not name my husband King? My husband is full of capability and good qualities. He deserves to be King of Scotland. I am going to hide my real thoughts and be the serpent under it. I would act very politely and humbly in order to escape suspicion.
In any case, an old man like him is as good as dead. He is just clinging on to the post of the king. Youth men like my husband who deserve of the throne should rule the country.
Duncan, or for now, King Duncan, today is your last day. Enjoy the moonlight ad last meal at my castle. Death awaits you!!!
All hail, Macbeth!
