As I was preparing the daggers for the murder, my husband returned with two bloodstained daggers, telling me that he had done the 'deed'. I was so proud of him at that moment.
But, he was terribly shaken. After he mentioned that it was a disaster to have killed Duncan, he said that he will never be forgiven for his criminal act.
However, he had brought the dagegrs back. I had to silently walk back to the chambers, stained the guards with blood so ad to turn the crime to them.
When I asked him to clean off the blood, he was silly and acted as if he had done something majorly wrong. Suddenly, there was a knocking at the gate. My husband was restless. I had to be with him to make sure things were okay.
Macduff, the Thane of Fife, and Lennox have arrived. Now, my husband was more relaxed as if nothing had happened. However, Macduff found out about the murder as he entered Duncan's chamber.
My husband, now more decisive, tried to act along. However, it was not as realistic. In order to change the centre of attraction, I had to act like fainting. The crime was thought to be done by the guards. Now, my husband has a 'clear' profile and the throne is coming towards him.
Duncan, rest well in heaven or in hell!!!
All Hail, Macbeth!
