Husband is not happy!

Ever since my husband told me about the air-drawn dagger incident, he is rather been not happy. Even after being named king, he has this discontentment and restless feeling in him. He thinks he had murdered sleep by not having a clear conscience.

The air-drawn dagger was either his imagination or the work of the evil weird sisters. Perhaps, they were trying to help him out because he is too full of the milk of human kindness. He is also having terrible dreams nightly, shaking him up from sleep.

He is very disturbed and confused by one of the weird sisters’ prediction to Banquo : Thou shalt get kings, though thou be none. He is afraid that Fleance may become king next. He does not want Fleance to seize the throne from him. He is in such bad mood and terrible dreams come upon him because he murdered Duncan. By not having a clear conscience, he is sacrificing himself. His evil deed had given him an evil mark. He did not want to sacrifice himself for other people’s benefit.

My husband has wild thoughts in mind and is not keen in sharing them with him. I feel that he is now very suspicious about everyone. His mind is never at peace. Would he be alright if I had not forced him to kill Duncan? My husband, be happy. What’s done cannot be undone. Try to control yourself now that the whole of Scotland is under our control. I want my husband to sleep well and be happy.
                                       All hail, Macbeth!
