The 'disordered' banquet

The banquet began with my dearest husband, addressing the lords and thanes and asking them to take their seats. My husband’s men had come at the door way and took his leave for a while. I did not know what was so important as to let the guests wait.

When my husband returned, he started the feast. He was angry and disappointed that Banquo did not attend the feast. In desperation to find a seat later, he grew mad. Although there was an empty seat reserved for him, he started shouting at the ‘air’ and the guests grew suspicious of him. My husband was so terribly shaken.

In order to safe guard my husband’s reputation; I had to make up stories saying that it was a problem he had from childhood and consoled them by saying them he will be alright soon. Privately, I questioned my husband whether it was his imagination like the air-drawn dagger. Why does he have to be mess up the banquet??? Damn his imagination!!!

He started getting mad again when he ‘saw’ the thing that has scared him. He was growing worse. The guests were staring at his drama with bulging eyes and disgusted looks. I had no choice but to call off the feast. As Ross began to question my husband about the ‘sights’, I had to give him a false reason that my husband’s condition will grow worse if questioned. What a ‘wonderful’ we had!!! He had turned the good meeting into a disorder. He needs to rest well.
All hail, Macbeth!
